When I first met Catherine and Carl, it was over Skype one evening. Because of the distance we didn’t have the convenience of meeting in person, but over the course of an hour I had very quickly came to the realization that they are very much my type of people. These two care about each other beyond what words can describe. So much so that when I asked them to tell me what they first recognized about one another that made them realize that they were the one… they both turned to each other and answered my question to one another. You guys, I can’t tell you the joy I felt inside when I watch that happen! They genuinely desire the best for each other and have such a sweet and easy-going love.

After our initial meeting, I was so excited to finally meet these two in person! In order to document the engagement part of their story we met at the Indianapolis Art Center in Broad Ripple, Indiana one morning for sunrise. With the glow of the sun and the soft morning air, we walked and talked and photographed some really sweet moments and I’ll tell you what… Catherine and Carl are adorable and just what I expected; down to earth, genuine and beautiful lovers.
