Mr. & Mrs. Vacik,

You’ll have to forgive me, this really isn’t a standard blog post… it’s more of a letter – but for you two I wouldn’t want it any other way. Let me just begin by saying how thankful I am that the two of you chose me to be a part of telling your story and capturing your special day. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that I fell in love with who you both are but being privy to all of your private and special moments on this day made my heart smile, laugh and nearly cry (happy tears!!). I loved watching you, Em, beam with excitement in that first moment as a wife when you exited the sanctuary… and Robbie… I loved catching you looking at Emily, with such a soft love in your eyes, when you thought no one was paying attention. I loved hearing the wonderful way all of your family and friends spoke of you, all the while watching the two of you bask in the beauty of the day. I anticipated each moment like it was my own and I could just feel the exuding joy that radiated from you and all of your family members. I’d be lying if I said my job wasn’t emotionally exhausting and I mean that in the most perfect and thankful way possible. Your day left me feeling bittersweet about when I’d see you next, and excited about life & my own marriage. You two are so special to me, and I’m more than thankful to call you friends. Never forget the way this day felt, and always keep Christ at the center of your marriage. I know you guys will do big things in this life together!!
