These two.

I’ve known Mike since I was probably 4 or 5, maybe younger. He is actually a friend of my parents! For years I remember my parents praying for him and his future wife, so it was incredible to be able to capture these sweet images of him and his bride almost a year after their wedding day. As we adventured around Camp Ray Bird, the camp that Mike used to be a director at, I got to know a little bit more about the two of them, the things they first noticed about each other, and where their lives are headed now. Mike & Amy work together furthering the Kingdom and who they are in Him most definitely reflects in the way they look after each other.

Amy… your beauty is a definite reflection of who you are on the inside, the way you carry yourself is peaceful, soft and loving. Mike, I love the way you look at your Amy, cherishing her as Christ does His church! I’m so excited for you two and for what is in store for your future together!

After many years as a kid asking Mr. Mike if there were any new “fishies” he found in the sea, I’m so thankful to see the love he has for Amy and how beautifully their lives are woven together.

I’m so happy for you two! Thanks for letting me be a part of this sweet time in your life 🙂
