When you’re as optimistic as Ellie and Kyle the Lord blesses you with beautiful weather on the one day out of the week where it has been and is supposed to continue to rain sideways. The whole drive up to Chicago was a mess, but we had this session scheduled and we were hopeful to make it work. We started inside and got cozy with a bottle of champagne but by the time we were deciding where to head next we realized the rain had stopped and sure enough out came the sun! It was a beautiful redemption from the foggy haze that covered the city when I arrived.

As we walked through a part of the city where Ellie and Kyle used to live they reminisced and we talked about wedding, marriage and life plans. It was so sweet to be able to witness the love they have for each other and the life they are building together. I’m so dang excited to be a part of their sweet day!
