I had the absolute privilege of photographing some of my best friends this week at Blue Herron Park, in Franklin, Indiana and it couldn’t have been sweeter. These family sessions I’ve opened my books for have been some of the most enjoyable work I’ve had in this season. Becoming a mother 5 years ago myself, I’ve felt a shift in my work and I really recognize the importance of documenting family lifestyle and portraits. In a world of constant change and newness, being able to stop time for a moment and soak in these tender moments is what matter most.
